Pushing Reason began in the Summer of 2005 when guitarist Micheal Blair and vocalist/guitarist Nate Hull started playing acoustic shows around the Tulsa area. After a few shows it was apparent that they should expand their musical horizons and add a bassist and a drummer to the lineup. The guys went through a few bass players before discovering Christopher Sage was the perfect fit. The group showed great promise, but it was clear that something was still missing. In the fall of 2005, Nate found drummer Zach Henderson and the group had finally found the missing link.
Shortly after the final four members of the band came together, it was obvious that there was some real potential in the band's ability to compose really inspiring original material.
Today, Pushing Reason aims to create an emotional and dynamic live performance living up to their early 90's influences(Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, etc.).
