PUST has established itself as one of the leading vocal groups in Norway, and has won recognition and prices abroad. The singers have a wide expertise in the solo genre as folk music, classical, soul, pop and jazz.
They are currently located in Oslo.

PUST is a vocal sextet that presents versatility and innovation, combined with a high musical level.
They started in the spring of 2003.

The repertoire is mainly in a range between folk, jazz and ethnic genres. PUST focuses on original songs, and all compositions and arrangements are written by or for PUST. Much is performed a cappella, but the group also collaborates with other musicians.

Their first two albums were released on their own label; Femkant (2007) and Kry (2009). Femkant was nominated for the Norwegian Grammys in the "Open Class". Both albums received a number of fives and sixes by the Norwegian press, including in Aftenposten which provided a six to debut album.

They are wild, challenging and unpredictable, both experimental and temperamental in his vocal pleasure. "Both albums were also a number of nominations for the CARA Awards (a cappella genre" Grammy "), including for best European album, best folk / world album , best folk / world song and best original composition.

The third album was released in autumn 2011. Julero (KKV) was one of the best selling Norwegian Christmas albums this year.

Concerts has been steadily increasing over the last few years, both nationally and internationally. In 2011, PUST had about 60 performances and concerts. They have given concerts at festivals such as Olavsfestdagene, Prøysebfestivalen, Sommerdagan in Meløy, Hareidstemna and Polarjazz. They have also been a guest artist at international vocal festivals in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Austria, and shared concerts with, among others, Bobby McFerrin, The Manhattan Transfer and The Real Group.

PUST has also collaborated with other musicians and ensembles, including an exciting collaboration with Helge Lien and Jørn Simen Øverli. In the past year they have been engaged for several school tours organized by Den Kulturelle Skolesekken. The ensemble is regularly used to dub the Norwegian versions of the music of great animation and character film productions (including Disney and Universal).

PUST won a prestigious first prize at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival in Finland in June 2005. The international jury consisted of, among others, John Potter, of The Hilliard Ensemble and Anders Jalkéus from The Real Group, and believed PUST with his individuality, charm and high quality design something new in vocal music genre.
