Puttin'OnTheFoil is a Hillbilly Punk N' Roll band that began the adventure 2 years ago in Okotoks Alberta Canada in the mind of founder Kevin Rowland. He just wanted to put together a solid funLovin', goodtime, Edgey Rock n' Roll Machine. He wanted songs that were anthemic and energetic. His motto is basic " Life's a party, so let's Rock it" basically, life is short, so we might as well have fun and what better fun is there than writing songs and performing them and seeing people enjoy themselves. Puttin'TheFoil have finshed up theire first album and is being officially released through BlackStream Records/Bungalo/Universal Group on Feb.19 2013. The album is a straight ahead Punk n' Roll party album. The band is heavy influenced by bands like The Ramones, Motorhead, Motley Crue, Social Distortion, Sex Pitols, George Thorogood, Kiss, Ozzy, Sabbath, The Refreshments, AC-DC, Andrew W.K.,Steve Earle and Hank Williams. Lots of catchy tunes start to finish. PuttinOnTheFoil can`t wait to get out on road and bring goodtimes to the people. What sets PuttinOnTheFoil apart from other bands is from the start is they always let the music do the talking, but they always want the visual side of it to talk as well. Their shows have always consisted of lots of lights, smoke, pyro(when we can get away with it) The future is bright for PuttinOnTheFoil. It`s going to be a party!!!!!!
