Put Your Shoes On is a new local Los Angeles indie band formed from the ashes of a solo acoustic project called Gin & Frolic, which played all over the LA area for the last few years. Josh met Dan a while ago, but when they started working together to make the less crappy Gin & Frolic tunes better while writing all new tunes simultaneously, Put Your Shoes On came to shape. After putting out hand made ads all over LA, Jeff Olsen came on board, and is generally the drummer for the band.
Our influences range from old school punk to singer-songwriter to bluegrass to blues, but our sound can only be described as pure indie rock.
