The story behind this cd is as interesting as the cd itself.
These songs were lost 4 years ago to thugs who robbed producer Ollie Steinberg of his briefcase at gunpoint as he entered his car in a downtown Toronto parking lot. Among the contents were the masters of outakes and demo recordings from PXA sessions in 2001.
Fast forward to November 2005 when Ollie receives a call from Metros finest informing him that the briefcase had been found in the bedroom of a crack house during a raid. The clincher?
The masters along with a day book were recovered. The title on the box that held the masters? Peter X Anthony - SCRAPS!

Upon listening again we realized just how cool these songs really were and decided they should be released. Peter X Anthony will not go back and re-hash old material so we were left with the versions we had. These songs are indeed only demos and were never meant to be released.(At least not in this form). Maybe we were just so happy to have them back that nostalgia and karma took over.
PXA sat in on every minute of the mixing and mastering process. The only additions would be some drum programming from X-Ray Brake to fill in the existing ghost tracks. Other then that these tunes are essentially going on 6 years old but the ideas,we feel, are the dawn of the next new sound.
