Q.AGE’s eclectic sound combines elements of alternative rock, indie pop and electronica with members from Transylvania, Munich, New Jersey, and Los Angeles. Currently based in Germany, the band’s music and shows have been described to be an emotional rollercoaster ride - from moving melodies to the explosive side of rock. Music influences stretch back to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode and into today’s acts like Massive Attack, Morcheeba, and Evanescence.
Q.AGE falls into the indie category, whose members interweave various well-developed musical cultures with roots in classical, opera, Eastern European folk music to modern rock and pop. Yet the songs from the band are timeless. Q.AGE’s recent debut album, Songs For Your Lonely Island, has already appeared in the European press as a Top 10 Newcomer Album of 2010. Catchy songs, enchanting vocals, and a hungry love for the stage is why this newcomer band is becoming all the rave.
