In early 2004, guitarist Aidan met drummer Sean and they fell in love. They wanted to adopt a beautiful baby but Madonna had taken all the good ones. Over the next 6 years they embarked on an on-again-off-again musical relationship, collaborating and decollaborating with some of Cape Town's best and brightest bassists, vocalists and more, finally resulting in the current QTTM line-up.
Some would call them an unlikely combination of personalities, but the resulting sound, a mash of numetal, jazz, d’nb, electro, indie and classical influences, has been compared to everything from The Mars Volta and SOAD to Mogwai, and even Alanis Morrissette. Yeah, really. Really, QTTM plays Tsunami music - their instrumental, infectious rock operatic roadshow is constantly evolving, towards an audio-visual erotic neon disco spectacular...
