Quadrophonic Groove Connection

Our band started through our drummer and bassist who are cousins and have been jamming together for a few years now. We're younger than most groups, our bassist, drummer, and one guitarist are 19 soon to be 20. Our other guitarist is 17 soon to be 18. We all listen to a lot of Grateful Dead and Phish and have phenomenal respect for them as musicians. We can a do cover a good bit of each of their bands. We are starting to become more well noticed around central Ohio and are enjoying it. We practice together every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for around 2-3 hours a day. We are getting gigs, but not as many as we would like because we are very new, and are really trying hard to get our names out there. Our bassist learned piano at a young age and moved on from that to guitar and then moved again moved to bass. He is very talented at all three, but feels like he's found a home on the bass. Our older guitarist has been playing guitar his whole life and attended college for several years in Chicago for guitar. Our younger guitarist is arguably the most talented member of our band. He aspires to attend Berklee College of Music when he graduates; and is off to a great start to do so, as he is already submitting material to them over a year before he graduates. Our drummer attends Ohio State University and has been playing drums for 9+ years. He began as a marching snare drummer and has since evolved into a very solid drum set musician. We all thrive on opportunity and make the best of every show we play!
