Bio
Born in California and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, MC Quay has emerged as a legitimate
contender in today’s music industry. Starting as a writer he was able to capture the
attention of a developing fan base in the South. Combining his passion for quality sound
and clever wordplay Quay has traveled the country promoting Oklahoma’s potential for
worldwide recognition. Currently based in the Twin Cities Quay has aligned himself with
many of today’s creative minds to prepare himself for stardom.
Quay is a published writer on social issues and a dynamic stage performer. He has
been praised across the South and Midwest. His music has been frequently played
in multiple internet venues including We Next Wednesday Radio and SotaPop Radio.
Quay is currently finishing up at McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, MN. He is
soon to be a graduate of the United States first fully accredited Hip-Hop Studies program
(CNN/Fox News/NBC). Quay’s newly acquired knowledge of music business and theory
make him a force to be reckoned with.
