Queen City Romance

BandRockPunk

Biography

Queen City Romance is the result of a healthy mix of rock, punk, metal and emo all wrapped up into one well round dose of what music is supposed to be, new, exciting and one of a kind.

Queen City consists of Jack Whittaker on Lead Vocals, Drums and Keys; Morgan Northrup on Lead Guitar; Rick Babick on Bass Guitar. Just recently the band released their demo version of what will be their first full fledge cd release, Black Tie Affair. The band can be found regularly playing around the more popular venues in the Clarksville, TN scene in front of a diverse regular following of fans.

Queen City Romance was founded in 2003 in a small room in Iraq by Jack and Morgan. Upon their return home from the Mid-East, Jack and Morgan began dedicating their time and energies into working on writing the all original material that has become its own sound. In 2006, they finally felt the project was ready to move forward and take that next step, outside exposure in a live setting. The two soon after recruited Rick to fill in the basslines for QCR.

Queen City Romance is Bringin' Wicked Back.

Lyrics

All Too Well

Written By: Jack Whittaker

Tomorrow I'm leaving, to try a new town
Stay here and listen to all of the sad songs
I miss you already, but I'm so far gone
Now you won't call back did you forget me

But now I know
I crawl back to nowhere

Now I'm driving through the dark
To come back home to not all once again, left me behind you
I was wrong to think you'd stay
Useless but now I am on my way, three bad days
Running to return

I thought that you'd want me, but you want him instead
I stand in the driveway, ask is this different
Said that you fell hard, eyes fall to the ground
Now making my slow turn, crying before you

But now I know
I crawl back to nowhere

Now I'm driving through the dark
To come back home to not all once again, left me behind you
I was wrong to think you'd stay
Useless but now I am on my way, three bad days
Running to return

Now I'm driving through the dark
To come back home to not all once again, left me behind you
I was wrong to think you'd stay
Useless but now I am on my way three bad days
Running to return

Circle Gets the Square

Written By: Jack Whittaker

You're round on the edges
But he's sharp like tetnis
He's trying to hammer
His way throught the pegboard

Now I know the circle gets the square

I know that you can go
But I've made lots of plans
None of them are half as good as you

You put down my ex's
Your next move will block this
I'm stuck now I can't go
It hurts me to see you

Now I know the circle gets the square

I know that you can go
But I've made lots of plans
None of them are half as good as you
