Bio
Born in the dirty dead end of winter of 2007 Nick Brooks, Formerly of the Trustkill Records outfit It Dies TOday left his successful band to start a new project with a lifelong friend, Zak Collins. In a warm colonial On West Oakwood, they wrote the first pieces of what came to be the band you hear today, Queen City Station.
In the same living room, they they played the first chords of "Carnivale" in Zak's living room. After one take, Queen City Station would become the inseparable bond and backbone of five friend's lives.
After flattering interest from many labels, sitting tentatively on the fence in the current climate of the music industry, Queen City Station took to living together in an apartment they affectionately called The Hertel Hotel to write and self-release their debut record.
A dedicated, growing grass roots base of amazing fans have continued to overwhelmingly support the newly launched outfit. With 300,000 myspace plays by word of mouth, 2009 is the year the band has waited for. A chance to play their music on their own terms, for people who care, anywhere they possibly can, for anyone who will listen.
