Que’t was born Quentin Renard Williams on April 21st 1988 at South Fulton Hospital in East Point, GA. Raised in a small town called Palmetto his first dream was to play basketball. Always having a creative mind and thinking outside the box Quentin always believed in doing things his way. Music was always in Williams his father (Renard Williams) was a promoter and most of his family sing in church. Unlike many artists, Williams grew up with a suburban influence with an urban twist. When he was younger, he developed a passion for music, highly influenced by Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson. Williams was also caught up in the hip hop world which he later pursued admiring artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and most of all Tupac Shakur. While attending Creek side High School, Williams recorded some tracks of his own and held numerous performances. After graduation he attended University of West Georgia, where his passion grew deeper for hip-hop music. He learned to craft melodic lyrics, and with his soulful performances, he quickly developed a solid fan base, and which led him to pursue his dream of being a hip-hop entertainer.

Williams is presently working on various compilation albums and his debut album “Above the Influence” with “Break it down” feat. Kristie White being the first single. Williams diverse background will give hip- hop new measures that will appeal to all races, ages, and nationalities. His rare high-concept and assertiveness will make it easy for him to be successful in the hip-hop industry. Williams will definitely brand hip- hip culture with his original concepts and heart filled lyrics. Williams will rise above the average influence of hip-hop to create the above the influence movement.
