Bio
Quiana Fulton was born In Honolulu, Hawaii on August 16, 1981. Growing up in a single family home environment she learned to be very independent and creative with her time. Being an only child on her mother’s side afforded her much alone time to think and no siblings to share the spot light with.
At the age of 16 Quiana begin to discover the art and beauty of writing poetry; which was something that was required of her in her English class. When a teacher was surprised that she had written a poem with such deep emotions it was at that moment that she begin to realize her true talent for writing.
Singing for Quiana was always something she would do from time to time, occasionally participating in school talent shows and play. However, it wasn’t until her freshman year of college at Radford that she discovered her love for singing, when one day with both the lyrics and melody came to her in her first official song titled ‘Lovely Is with You’. She first sang this song over the phone to her Aunt Wendy who thought she had put someone else over the phone to sing. Her aunt was surprised at the lovely voice that her niece had.
During Quiana’s time in college and early twenties she spent much time writing, perfecting her vocals and lyrics. Now in her late twenties, she is beginning to learn how to play guitar, has recorded four songs, and is a ASCAP member.
In addition to her music she has also self-published her first book of poetry and lyrics titled ‘Boys with Isabella’ which can be found at the following link:
