Somebody Save Me

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

Somebody Save Me

I'd sit alone at a desk way in the back
The kids would taunt me as they talked behind my back
Till the day when I would rise out of my shell
I rose and told them they could all go strait to hell

This time........Now I'm

Lately..... been feeling so alone dejected

Buy the phone I sat waitin for my white night baby...
All alone just waitin for someone to save me....from myself

At 18 a young adult without a home
Would beg and steal just for food... out on my own
Grabbed by the man... and sent me straight to jail
I jumped the bar... attacked the judge, could not make bail

This time......Now I'm

Lately...... been feelin oh so down and out yeah

Buy the phone I sat waitin for my white night baby
All alone just waitin for someone to save me from myself

It seems so hard for me to take another day
Days grow so long and cold for me while your away
Seems to me you've lost that fire in your eyes
It took some time but now you've seen through all my lies

This time........Now I'm

Sitting staring into space dejected

By the phone I waited for my white night baby
By the phone just waitin for someone to save me.... from myself

Gear Head

Gear Head

Im driving out on the open road
Got the radio on I got nowhere to go
I shined her up, she's looking so nice
I got the top rolled down, and my girl by my side

One thing I know
She won't be beat
Cause' she rules the street

Four barrel carb and a four on the floor
I got a full tank of gas couldn't ask for much more
The way she screams when you're kickin' her down
I got to say it she's the hottest in town

I pull up to the light
It feels so right I'll show you what she's got tonight

I'm sent packin' with my head hangin' low
Not feelin good I got one place to go
Back to the garage try to see what went wrong
Pulled the motor and trans and I worked till the dawn

I'll find a way
To put some more
Pony's on the floor

It's been a week or maybe more
She's back together and she's ready to roar
Looking for some action it's a Saturday night
The streets are a buzz I got one in my sights

One thing I know
She wont be beat

I Knew A Man

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

I Knew A Man

Son I think it's time I told you
Something I think that you should know
It's a little something I searched for all my life
A creed, to help you live and grow
And I hope you'll heed my warning
And maybe learn from my mistakes

Knew a man lived day to day
And never looked toward the future
Had lots of toys and fancy cars
And Cash in his pocket
Knew a woman she skimped and saved
Never straying from her purpose
She built herself a large nest egg
But in the end
They end up dead

No matter how, you may choose to live
Know that you are not alone
Rest assured there are many
Who will push there way of life
People with nothing better to do
And I hope you will remember
There are many just like you

Your a man lived day to day
And never looked toward the future
Got lots of toys and fancy cars
And Cash in your pocket
Your a woman she skimped and saved
Never straying from her purpose
She built herself a large nest egg
But in the end
They end up dead

And for all the things I told you
Still there's so much more
That you must discover and realize for yourself
It will come to you in time
To respect another's feelings
And the way they choose to live

Your a man lived day to day
And never looked toward the future
Got lots of toys and fancy cars
And Cash in your pocket
Your a woman she skimped and saved
Never straying from her purpose
She built herself a large nest egg
But in the end
Both end up dead

Doing My Time

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

Doing My Time

As I gazed across the room and
I saw your eyes meet mine
I knew you'd be the one
How I planned and waited
For this very day
Now the time has come

And as I stalked you all alone
you started on that long walk home

As I came in slowly behind you
As you opened up your door
You never noticed me
Lunging forward I grasped your mouth
As your keys they hit the floor
You tried like hell to scream

I got more than I bargained for
As you struggled kicked and swore

Now as I do my time
For such a cowardly crime
There always stalkin' me
And I will never be free

My Addiction

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

My Addiction

Once again we travel down this road
Not sure how long we can bare this load
Takes its toll your addiction don't come free
Not just you it's slowly killing me

But I can't leave you when you are down
One day we'll beat this thing
And all we've lost will be found

I've seen you changin' right before my eyes
I've sat and listened to your endless lies

But I can't leave you when you are down
One day we'll beat this thing
And all we've lost will be found

Don't know what you feel
Though I tried to see your life through your eyes
One thing I know is your pain is real
But I tell ya so is mine

And when we make it through this time
And never ever question why
I never left you when you were down

Though friends they come and they go
There's one thing I know
I'll stick by your side
For all time

Long Time

Long Time

Looking forward a long time
To seeing you again
Spastic jams and one night stands
just don't seem the same

A weekend here maybe once a year
Just don't seem enough
Work school and so many miles
Sure can make it rough

I can still remember the day
You said you'd be leaving town
And I know I speak for us all
We really miss having you around

It's been such a long long time
Wont you tell me how you've been
When I think of the times we've had
To my face it brings a grin
We spent what will probably be
The best years of our lives
Dodging jail and chasing tail
Avoiding our nine to fives

Not one to talk on the phone
You see it's not my thing
But I still remember old times
And the places that we've been

Even though you were much younger than me
I learned so much from you
Could only hope you got something from me
As over tome our friendship grew

I can still remember the day
You said you'd be leaving town
And I know I speak for us all
We really miss having you around

It's been such a long long time
Wont you tell me how you've been
When I think of the times we've had
To my face it brings a grin
We spent what will probably be
The best years of our lives
Dodging jail and chasing tail
Avoiding our nine to fives

My Recurring Dream

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

My Recurring Dreams

I'd like to tell you bout' some of my reoccurring dreams
Where I feel so helpless, but I just can't seem to scream

Just another night
I'm awakened to a dream

I find myself walking down the hall
Then I turn to face the crowd
As I address the cheering throng
I'm feeling oh so proud

But I got no shoes
I got no pants
And there no where to be found
I get this feeling of despair
As a crowd it gathers round

I try to run I try to hide
As my pride it slips away
What I would do, what I would give
Just to make it through this day

Just another night
I'm awakened to a dream

In the blink of an eye
I flash to after school
This guy wants to kick my ass
I try to play it cool

Just another night
I'm awakened to a dream

I cock my arm and lunging forward
throw a punch with all my might
I think I'm gonna land this one
I'm gonna win this fight

But I've got no speed
I got no strength
And my punches all fall short
I try to run as fast as I can
only to trip and fall

My heart is racing, my throat is dry
And my palms begin to sweat

Suddenly I'm free falling to the ground
FUCK

Hoping You're Not Gone Forever

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

Hoping Your Not Gone Forever

Been seven days now I haven't seen that smile
Seven days alone I spent longing all the while
For maybe one more chance to make it up to you
If I could see your face those eyes so soft and blue

You Know it'd make my day to hold you in my arms

You were always there through the good and the bad times
I guess I took for granted you'd always be there
Then came that day I felt my life just slip away
Not knowing if you're gone forever

Spent so many years now with you by my side
The one I'll always love someone I can confide
We built our lives as one as both of us have grown
Now that's all come crashing down what was our happy home

You Know it'd make my day to hold you in my arms

You were always there through the good and the bad times
I guess I took for granted you'd always be there
Then came that day I felt my life just slip away
Not knowing if you're gone forever

You Know it'd make my day to hold you in my arms

And I will sit here hopin' maybe someday you'll return
And I can give you everything that you deserve
And if you found it in your heart to take me back
Well I'll be right here waitin

You were always there through the good and the bad times
I guess I took for granted you'd always be there

Now that you're not there for the good and the bad times
I regret taking for granted you'd always be here

Ever since that day I felt my life just slip away
Left hoping you're not gone forever

I've Got Nothing To Say

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

I Got Nothing To Say

Sittin' on the grass
On a lovely summer day
Try to right another one
But nothing comes my way
Pushin' for some filler
A little icing on side B
Yet my mind is wondering
As the wind blows through the trees

But I've got nothing to say
I sat and thought all day

I try to write all day long
I know we need just one more song
To make the grade to fill some time
May take all day I keep on trying

All at once it hits me
Like a brick hurled from the sky
I scramble for some paper
Jot down a couple lines
I strum some chords in angst
As I'm sippin' on a beer
And suddenly it hits me
It's never been so clear

That I've got nothing to say
I sat and thought all day

I try to write all day long
I know we need just one more song
To make the grade to fill some time
May take all day I keep on trying

But I've got nothing to say
I sat and thought all day

I try to write all day long
I know we need just one more song
To make the grade to fill some time
May take all day I keep on trying

Dead End Street

Written By: Charlie Muccigrosso

Dead End Street

On a dead end street in a dead end town
I'm bustin out turnin' my life around
Been wastin' my days and wastin' my nights
I'm movin on gonna take in the sights

Been holdin' back for so long now
Some say I've forgoten how
To loosen up and just be me
Let down my guard go after my dreams

Before I make a move
I find myself second guessing myself
I've got nothing to loose
I'm gonna do it for me cant you see

On a dead end street in a dead end town
I am content I got my friends around
My familys close we speak every day
spend quality time have it no other way

As I begin to to see the light
Starting towards home feeling everythings right

Before I make a move
I find myself second guessing myself
I've got something to prove
I'm gonna do it for me so you see

My head is spinnin'
around and around and around and around again
I cant figure out which way to go
And it feels like this never will end
My minds been travelin' this winding road
Turning with every bend
My head is spinnin'
around and around and around and around again

Before I make a move
I find myself second guessing myself
I've got nothing to loose
I'm gonna do it for me cant you see

On a dead end street in a dead end town
I'm bustin' out then I come back around
Got everything but nothin's free
The best of both worlds it's watin' for me
I got so much to see so much to do
And just when I think I've made up my mind

Before I make a move
I find myself second guessing myself
I've got nothing to loose
I'm gonna do it for me so you see

My head is spinnin'
around and around and around and around again
My head is spinnin'
around and around and around and around again
