Country music act QuickShift, boosted earlier this year by the news that the crew had been nominated for its first music industry award, (Rising Star) is anticipating an exciting year. A sold out crowd was on hand to hear several of their original tunes at the 17th Annual 2006 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards showcase. Following their afternoon performance, the crew ended that evening with a second performance at the Cabaret. “The group has an infectious energy that spills over to the audience,” says industry observers, “its’ pretty hard not to notice, they keep the dance floor packed!”

The upcoming months include opening for Deric Ruttan at the Carlton Trail Jamboree, appearances at the Saskatoon Exhibition and Parade, Taste of Saskatchewan along with a number of tour dates currently in the works, including performing at Rodeo’s, this years SCMA Nightclub of the Year.

The self penned tune “I’m Right Here” is definitely catchy, upbeat and radio friendly! This release follows two previous Canadian releases “I Moved On” and “I Want the Romance Back.”
