Quiet Marshall

Quiet Marshall

Quiet Marshall brings a blend of acoustic rock and catchy hooks with stylings along the lines of Dave Matthews, O.A.R., and Pat McGee. From nod-your-head jams like "Mrs. Benitez" to slower grooves like "Best Friend" QM is sure to leave you singing a hook hours after an energy-filled live performance

Quiet Marshall came together with the goal of blending the sounds of their influences (Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., Pat McGee, and others) into a high energy sound and style all their own. Since its inception in 2005, Quiet Marshall has become a staple in the DC/Maryland music scene, performing regularly at the high profile venues in the area – The Rams Head Live (Baltimore), The Recher Theater (Towson), The 8x10 Club (Baltimore), and Fletcher’s (Fells Point). They have just released their 1st EP entitled “Quiet Marshall: 2.0”. The name of the album was chosen due to the many personnel changes the band faced in order to find just the right blend of talent they were searching for. Recorded and mastered at Summerhaus Studios in College Park Maryland, “2.0” is Quiet Marshall’s fist attempt to supply their unique blend of acoustic rock to their numerous fans and make a statement to anyone that will listen.

I try not to stare, at a silent clock beating, loud enough to scare me

Another drink, why does this glass help me remember
and forget it all the same
and i still hear your name

and part of me is gone, so far gone
and part of me is gone, so far gone
and this is good bye

Stare out the window
and I drive fast to collapse these thoughts
and i try
as the sun sets on familiar skies

took those steps, crossed those lines, with those expectations held so high and he fell
and im still falling now, im still falling

and part of me is gone, so far gone
and part of me is gone, this is good bye

goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

and part of me is gone, so far gone
and part of me is gone, this is goodbye

goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

Quiet Marshall released their 1st EP, "Quiet Marshall 2.0" on September 1st.
