Quinn Fitzpatrick is an eclectic guitarist who draws upon folk, country, celtic, pop, rock, blues, funk, r&b, latin and jazz. He played guitar in several popular San Francisco bay area bands for over a decade. He has shared the stage with famous (and not-so-famous) people playing covers and originals from all genres.
His style is influenced by Tuck Andress, Pete Huttlinger, Tommy Emmanuel, Al Petteway and Adam Rafferty.
After a successful career both playing and teaching guitar in the San Francisco bay area, he relocated to Whidbey Island, WA to focus on composing, recording and promoting his solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar music. He currently teaches guitar privately as well as workshops in the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. He is also working on his second CD, which will be released in the summer of 2012.
