""drop-dead gorgeous looks and old fashioned Glam appeal""

“It isn’t just her drop-dead gorgeous looks and old fashioned Glam appeal: Lemley’s crystalline intonation, dancer’s sense of swing (it’s a treat to watch her move while she sings, and simultaneously sultry and sunny disposition will make even boomers and gen-xers nostalgic for 1946. Catch her now before one of the sixty-dollar cover rooms grabs her.”

Will Friedwald, The Village Voice - Will Friedwald - The Village Voice

"InCorrigible Sexiness..."

“Vocal Vixen Quinn Lemley is the well-deserved star of the show; incorrigible sexiness…Quinn’s flirtatious personality pours through her microphone. Her phrasing swings as easily as it seduces…sexy, spicy and irresistible.” - Swingtime Magazine

""The Lady Is HOT""

“Thanks to the renewed interest in “happy” dance music, that’s heralded a wild resurgence in the ‘90’s, DANCE OR DIE! Offers the genuine article: sexy dancing to songs sung by a sassy hurricane named Quinn Lemley…one of today’s fastest rising night club performers, she’s well on her way to becoming a household name…the lady is HOT!”

John Hoglund, Backstage Magazine - Backstage

""The big-voiced Lemley has talent and chops to go with her sex siren image""

ALL MUSIC GUIDE - DANCE OR DIE! (Alex Henderson) AMG EXPERT REVIEW: Like a lot of the retro-swing recordings that came out in the 1990s, Dance or Die is bound to take some jabs from jazz's hardcore. With her sexy Rita Hayworth-ish looks, flirtatious delivery and fondness for tongue-in-cheek lyrics, Quinn Lemley comes across as a caricature of the film-noir vixen goddess of the 1940s. (Had she been around back then, one could easily envision her tormenting Glenn Ford's Johnny Farrell character in the film-noir classic Gilda. But she is a very fun caricature, and her third album, Dance or Die, is certainly an entertaining pop-swing date. To be sure, humorous tunes like "Mister Ninety Miles an Hour, " "I Been Bad" and "Ev'rybody's Gotta Swing" (all written by Bob McDowell, who Lemley co-produced the CD with) aren't for bookish jazz purists?Lemley isn't a straight-ahead jazz singer any more than she is someone who will be accused of taking herself too seriously. But thankfully, the big-voiced Lemley has talent and chops to go with her sex siren image; in fact, her range and technical skills aren't half bad. For those who simply want to be entertained rather than challenged, Dance or Die is recommended. ? Alex Henderson - ALL MUSIC GUIDE

""She's a siren, a diva, a vamp and a scamp all rolled into one glittering, slithering, shimmering burst of energy and light. ""

One Night in Swanktown (Geoffrey Tozer) "Tickled Cherry Pink on Cloud Nine: 3:30:04
The red flames burned bright and hot last night at the fabled G-spot. My favorite red-head, Rita Hayworth channeler Quinn Lemley, was getting in her licks and the overflow crowd ate it up with a spoon breaking into loud applause throughout her 90 minute set. Her crack trio was so tight you could have bounced a quarter off them.

As usual I sat over at the bar the better to watch the show and the crowd reaction simultaneously. Believe me they were rapt and wrapped around Quinn's littlest finger. She wanted to be bad, she wanted a da-da-daddy and she wanted to put the blame on Mame and you know what? Surprise! She got what she wanted. She's a siren, a diva, a vamp and a scamp all rolled into one glittering, slithering, shimmering burst of energy and light. If she ever comes to your town promise daddy you'll be there. Or else.
