Born in B.C Canada, Grown in Sydney, Australia- Quoious, a.k.a., Janet Walker, has performed her original songs in Canada, Australia, Europe and Scandinavia. She has played with artists of hip-hop, indie-pop, reggae, roots and even Raffi!

She writes, sings, composes, plays guitar and banjo, makes beats with her feet, tells tales, prevails, sets sail, wails with whales, and when that is all done, she drinks tea with the Sun.

She is a poet , artist , musician
with songs in her fingers and dreams on the tip of her tongue.
She is inspired by voices from behind the veils of her visions.
She credits her art to the stars, the moons, the laughing ravens and the shifting sands.
She shall be a hollow bone, through which the stars may sing.

Her favorite gig is on a pillow by the fire, with an old friend and piece of pie, singing songs that burn the clouds of fear so that the heart can fly.

(Quoious, pronounced () means ‘precious’ It is the name given to Janet by the Yahgulaanus Raven Clan of Haida Gwaii, BC)
