At a time in the music industry when artists are molded into cookie cutter pop images; where Rap artists resort to recycling beats and creativity is a rare commodity, Qwes managed to desist from the conventional tactics by creating his own unique concoction of cultural influenced music.

With a passion for music bubbling inside him at age 12, Qwes was certain a career in entertainment was waiting for him. At a young age his talent as an entertainer flowed naturally as he took part in school plays and talent shows. His street credibility exploded from his corner street rapping and dancing days and eventually led him to perform at some of the hottest clubs in NYC where he grew up.

Gradually Qwes grew into a performer, the help of his friend KAS pushed him into mastering the art of lyrics. However, Qwes wanted to ensure he would be ready for the music industry, to do this he attained a business degree which provided him with the essentials of marketing.

There are a lot of talented artists on our roster, but Qwes brings a certain quality, style and enthusiasm to the music world. Qwes’s first single release, Hush Bounce, distributed through Universal Records, gave him respectable radio exposure for a first release. Hush Bounce went GOLD through the Street Racing Syndicate video game on Namco, which is one of the largest video game distributors in the world!

Now with his second effort, sponsored by Vokal Clothing line, and with the addition of his new Management Company, Qwestone Entertainment, Qwes is keeping his options alive with Universal Records while working with independent camps like Grand Hustle, Bme and Dertty Entertainment.

So now with that same energy, Qwes is releasing his first street mix CD titled Vokal Vol.1. This street CD release will gear you up to get ready for his first full CD scheduled for release later in 2005.
