1996: Copped the two alblums that would forever change my life, Warren- G "G-Funk Era" and Jay-Z "REASONABLE DOUBT". 1997: Formed D.C. (Diabolical Characters) with Chris Pace a.k.a Son of Thought and Ronald Jackson a.k.a Genacide 1997: Got introduced to the D.J. that would help shape my career D.J. Dickie Fox a.k.a Showgun of Twilight Sentinels 1998: Met J.T. of ROADDOG RECORDS who would offer me the chance at being the ..1 artist on the label (deal rejected; contract negotiations over percentages were never established) 1998: Won my first contest at a local bar called "The Melody Inn" 1999: Started freestylen' for a crew I hung with and repped us against other crews and would come out victorious 90% of the time. 1999: Christened QWESS not QUEST by a longtime friend. 1999: Entered the underground hip-hop scene 2003: Started officially battling 2004: Was invited to the Casba as a guest of my good friend & old group mate Son of thought to cypher, battle and listen to the elements of Hip-Hop. 2004: Became a member of the group 5-Star Generals 2004: Started doing shows with the Twilight Sentinels(Thanx alot I owe U you 3 everything) with the biggest being MIDCEST 05 at the Indiana State Theatre 2004/05: I Won 6-Battle Rap Championships in a row defeating the likes of local legends ORIGINAL, HUM-V, B.C. of the Cleptoz, (Mr. use to be ..1 M.C. now Mr. ..1 Producer in the city, my muthafucka, FireArms The Arsonist, and one of the most gifted whiteboys on the mic since Eminem - MC FREEZE; only to lose the 7th battle to Mr. Jesus Walks himself (Rhymefest) in the battle that broadripple had been waiting for. 2005: Started Qwessclass presents Tuesday nights at the Casba returning full circle to where I started my championship run at. 2005: Started Qwessclass Entertainment and started putting the finishing touches on the alblum to be released in 2006. 2006: Anti-Pesto the alblum dropping the final quarter and positioning qwessclassentertainment to start making some serious noise. Now in 2007
Im slated to drop verses for Hectic of Dangerous Minds, Concrete Beats, YG, Code, Rusty form Mudkids, D.J.Sonic, and Solomen Streetz in the upcoming months for the album and some mixtape stuff. My career goals are 1. Major Distibution 2. Establish QwessClass Ent. as a force for the near future 3. Establish Qwess as a mainstream artist 4. Help define the look, feel, and sound of the Indiana Hip-Hop music movement 5. Win newcomer of the year at the Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta Georgia. I believe my career will be defined by the legacy I leave not only as an artist, but as a CEO, so it's all about good business, great performances, good relationships, and lots of networking and good old fashion hard work ethic.
