Lyrics

Center of My Universe

Written By: Rachel O.

Everyday I live for You
Do what You want me to
Lord You're the only one for
No one else can take Your place
I want to see Your face
Lord You're the only One

I need to let go of all I know
Let Your spirit take control

I want You at the heart of me
Put Your strength inside me
Be the center of my universe
I don't want You to escape from me
Like You're locked inside a cage it seems
Be the center of my universe

Borderline

Written By: Rachel O.

Verse 1:
Cemented down
and I cannot feel the ground
Paralyzed am I
Straddled here
between eternity and earth
Immovable am I
But I will be still, I will so still

Verse 2:
Tried to run
but my legs give way
Paralyzed am I
All that's left is dependency and hurt
Immovable am I
But I will be still, I will be so still

Chorus 1:
And You've caught me
on the borderline
When you looked at me I was fine
Please be careful with this
heart of mine
I am fragile still
Chorus 2:
And I've forgotten all about the past
and I don't know how long
that will last
Just take me by the hand I'll know
just where to go

Bridge:
I'm unprepared, so unaware
of where I am of where I stand

See Your face

Written By: Rachel O.

Verse 1:
I sit in silence and I wait for You Lord
My heart and soul they yearn for You
I enter in Your throne searching for You
Surrounded by consuming fire

Chorus:
Let me see Your face
Let me see Your face
All to see Your face
Is my desire

Verse 2:
Your fragrance fills the inner courts of my heart
I bow at the mention of Your name
Your eyes like fire, and hands that hold
All time and space between

Hold me tonight

Written By: Rachel O.

Can You hear me up above
these walls tonight?
I need to feel You to know
everything is alright
It seems that only You
can answer the questions in my soul
This troubled heart needs to know
that You're in control

Oh Jesus, please hold me,
hold me tonight
Oh Father, remind me
every thing's alright tonight

Can You hear me up above
all my tears?
Can You find me in the midst
of all my fears?
It seems like I am a million miles
apart from You
How did I, get so far away
from Your truth

Pillars of Clouds

Written By: Rachel O.

We run, we hide
All day, all night
Can't go escape Your light
I go fast, I go slow
One thing I will know
You're with me wherever I go

Surrounded by pillars of clouds
And I don't even hear a sound
Overtaken by you
Surrounded by the crashing waves
And I can't even feel the space
Overtaken by You, only by You

Mountain high, valley low
There's no place I can go
To escape Your sunshine
If I shut my eyes, close all the blinds
I'm still yours, and you are mine

Broken Souls

Written By: Rachel O.

Verse:
Oh here we are
Nothing but broken souls
Just the remnants of the leftovers that they stole

Cinderblocks and tire irons
Scattered across city lines
Can’t we all just see
That we’re trying hard to make it

Pre:
Farther then we’ve ever been before
Behind this skin there’s so much more
I’ve we’d stop and smell what’s cooking
It probably wouldn’t be so hard to match our vision

Chorus:
All, all we do is fall
We’re falling hard, we’re falling faster
If all, all we do is call
Call on Your name, You will answer
You will answer us

Verse 2:
Oh here we are
Just shuffling back and forth
Our hands are scarred from the serpents that we hold

Tired claims and reveries
When we should be on our knees
Can’t we all just see
Without you we just cant make it

Discovery

Written By: Rachel O.

Discovery

Verse:
Some rise, some fall
Some care, some call
But you know me, but still you know me

Some fight, some crawl
Through the past you’ve seen it all
But you show me, but still you show me

Chorus 1:
Like a puzzle piece
She’s fitting where she’s made to be
Awakened from her sleep, she’s farther than she sees
She’s discovering

Verse 2:
Storm winds blow strong
Oceans currents pull the soul
But you’ve known these
They’re not surprising

Chorus 2:
Like a puzzle piece
He’s finding where he’s made to be
Awakened from a dream, he’s father than he’s seen
He’s discovering

Bridge:
When we’ve lost everything
And relinquished our fight
Waving our surrender flag as high as the sky
She stands tall and firm, with the ocean tide
He’s filled with the stars and shining brightest at midnight
They burn through the fear, and insecurity
Arriving on the shore, of complete

Chorus 3:
Like a puzzle piece, we’re finding where we’re made to be
Arriving on the shore, to the dawn you’ve seen

Hunter

Written By: Rachel O.

Hunter

Verse:
You are the hunter I’m the prey
Pursued on roads redemption paved
Til I was caught and then released
To dance in freedom’s open streets

Chorus:
Then sings my soul of Your love’s great cost
Yet in our midst, we still were lost
You save us for eternity
We worship You our king

Verse 2:
Your streams that flow and cleanse me whole
How deep they go I’ll never know
I choose You now to take hold of me
And in your presence I will be

Chorus 2:
Then sings my soul of Your love’s great cost
There in our sin, as we still were lost
You freed us from captivity
To worship you our king

Chorus 3:
Then sings my soul of You love’s great cost
Here in my sin, I still was lost
You gave your blood for eternity
We worship You our king
