The Winner of the Young Adult Division of the Talent Competition is Miss Rachel Baker. she is a student at USC-Aiken. She sang and accompanied herself on the guitar. Singins is one thing and playing the guitar is another, but she showed her real talent in being able to combine both. Bio
I was born and raised in Trenton, South Carolina, out in the middle of nowhere. I come from a long line of musicians and singers, so I have music flowing in my veins. I have been playing guitar since I was 14, and I started singing as soon I could talk. I grew up listening to Carly Simon, James Taylor, Patsy Cline, and Joni Mitchell...just to name a few. I followed my childhood roots and started singing with a folky, almost yodel sound. I've managed to learn to yodel and scream my head off like Jeff Buckley while still keeping my vocal training in mind. I'm not your typical performer. I intend to be a "performer" not an "entertainer."
