LOS ANGELES, August 15, 2006 – WCA Entertainment Corporation, B.B. King’s, and Stiv Deville Production today announced details on a six hour, red carpet charity event to be held September 10, 2006 from noon to six p.m. at B.B. King’s Universal Citywalk. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for partner members of the L.A. Mentoring Coalition; members include many popular mentoring programs such as The Boys and Girl’s Club, A Place Called Home, and the Y.M.C.A.
The headline entertainment for the night is R&B/Soul artist, MTV host and high-end fashion model Krishnar. Other music guests include Soul Phenomenal, Vikki Lizzi w/Jeff Conway, Arden Kaywin, Julia Petiprin, Rachel Leigh, Amanda Mills, AR-15 and ATR and Alyssa Serrano.

“Mentoring in L.A. can be a little hit and miss. Sometimes the media attention mentoring gets draws in a rush of mentors or a rush of individuals seeking mentoring opportunities, but really what L.A. needs is a structural method of making sure mentoring works – so in comes the L.A. mentoring Coalition effort to integrate these programs into the schools.” said David Daniels, CEO, WCA Entertainment Corporation. “WCA as an organization is a mentoring company at heart, and I am proud to stand with our artist Krishnar, my staff and our other musicians behind such an effort here in Los Angeles.”

All ticket proceeds are forwarded to partner charities participating in the event, as well as Mentor L.A. and the L.A. Mentoring Coalition. MasterCard/WCA is dollar matching ticket sales, and the event is likely to be a huge draw, with MTV giveaways, and a virtual celebrity “Who’s Who” in attendance.

”We’re very excited to work with Krishnar, WCA, MTV and MasterCard while simultaneously doing work for the children and schools of Los Angeles,” said Toni Deville of Stiv Deville Productions and B.B. King’s Universal Citywalk. “We, as a venue, have offered 100% of the door to funding this effort and are excited to see the momentum behind the show. It’s going to be a great event.” The concert can be seen live online at www.bbkings.com.

Bio

Life is hard.
Even for a small-town girl from Indiana.

Pushing past all the tragedies and losses, Rachel Leigh has come to the end of herself, shown through the music she wrote, developed, created and now brings to the hearts of America.

Beginning her musical career at the age of 14 when she knew she had been called by God himself, she began a tough journey. Through playing, composing, writing, and singing, Rachel Leigh discovered her own self standing in a world filled with much violence, hate, and discrimination. Her strength, power, and passion for helping people has filled her music with melodies so moving and lyrics so touching...something this world has been waiting for. Sick of an industry built upon sex, lies, and greed, Rachel Leigh knows a revolution is beginning...one voice at a time. And her voice is chosen.

Listen and be stregthened, empowered, and loved through songs that inspire people to be themselves, see the good in situations, and love deeper than every imagined. She has traveled the world, played with the Big Leagues, and is meeting with major labels but Rachel Leigh will always be true to herself and her voice.

Human. Girly. Sexy yet wholesome. Fun-loving and classy. Flirtatious, emotional, and strong. She is friendly, fun, and funny. Rachel Leigh is…real.
