Bio

Michael, Patrick and, Marcus grew up together in the southeast side of Fort Worth, TX. As young boys they were taught the love of God and how they should live for him.
In 1998 the group came together as secular artist writing miscellaneous raps about life in the hood, selling drugs, etc… They all lived very separate lives, but were all very similar because they were not living for God. The secular writing did not last long and soon the whole idea fell off. By this time they had started their lives as men and soon grew apart.
In late 2002 their friendship was rekindled. They discovered that each had had similar worldly encounters with the same failed success. Their decision was not to go back to their former lifestyles. More importantly they found that each had made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior. With this in common the three began to develop what would become their best idea yet. They pooled their talents to become Radicals for the works of GOD. They became the Radicals Acknowledging Christ (RAC), a hip hop gospel group.
The groups’ soul purpose became to give the youth as well as adults who may not relate to the traditional gospel scene an alternative that they could relate to. Because they had all been in the world and could now look from the outside in, they understood the need there was for someone to reach out in a way they can understand.

After four months of hard work, dedication, and patience the first album was complete and was named Shock & Awe because of the Radical presentation of God’s word and the witnessing of his goodness.

As a result of the success of their new album the group has completed several different performance requests at different churches around the metroplex.

RAC plans to continue with their performing and writing to record new albums. Currently RAC is working on their next album in which the name has yet to be determined. They also have plans to win souls for God’s glory no matter what is takes, and will one day spread their message of God’s glory worldwide.
