"Artist Spotlight: RadioDriveBy"

Today’s Artist Spotlight is shining on emerging artist, RadioDriveBy.

RadioDriveBy is a five- piece pop/punk band from good old Arizona. Why does Arizona have so much musical talent? RadioDriveBy, made up of Trent Clark, Adam Simons, David Glosser, Evan Yuen and Austin Gavin -- have shared the stage with tons of acts we all know and love. And after giving them some of my attention over the past week, I think they would make a great opening act for Fall Out Boys’ spring tour; just an idea.

As you can see, their music has catchy hooks, strong soaring vocals and memorable melodies. RadioDriveBy are worth giving some attention to this year. Today the band released three new tracks for free (thanks guys!) and each new song has a distinct feel. The new songs were recorded in Los Angeles last year, in Mike Green's studio (All Time Low, Pierce The Veil, Mayday Parade have all recorded there) with Will McCoy.

The first track, “Tied Up” has a Panic! At The Disco feel, with attention-grabbing guitar riffs and vocals -- this one will make you dance and clap your hands. And a fun fact, the song was co-written with Slade Echeverria and Greg Garrity of Anarbor. - sarascoggins.Buzznet.com

"Radiodriveby Premiers New Video For "One You Want""

Arizona-based pop-rockers RadioDriveBy have premiered their new music video for “One You Want,” streaming exclusively at PopCrush.com. The track comes via their recently released spring sampler entitled MMXIII, produced by Will McCoy. Seasoned director Cory Davis – who claims notable credits with Anarbor, Lydia, and The Maine – was behind the camera for the filming of the video. It maintains a cinematic, late-night feel throughout, showcasing the band’s growth in maturity since their previous efforts in 2012.
“We wanted to make it almost like a movie,” says guitarist Adam Simons. “We got to all go out, dress up, and tried to capture that flashy 1960s/1970s New York and Vegas vibe.”
RadioDriveBy will be entering the studio this summer to begin work on their follow-up to MMXIII, and plan to be on the road for the remainder of 2013 thereafter.

"Radiodriveby"

In the early days of Arizona’s pop princes RadioDriveBy, the band just wanted to cover Blink-182 and play shows. Fortunately, it grew into something much more substantial. “RadioDriveBy formed to make music people can relate to and will make [their] lives better," says guitarist Adam Simons. "[We] soon realized that this is what we want to do for the rest of our lives." Winning a contest to play Alice Cooper’s 2010 Christmas Pudding lead to their opening for such national acts like Every Avenue, Forever The Sickest Kids and Family Force 5. Currently on tour with This Century and Anarbor, RadioDriveBy plan to record new material this fall. - Altpress.com

Bio

Radiodriveby, is a pop rock five-piece from Arizona. The band consists of Trent Clark (vocals), Austin Gavin (drums), Evan Yuen (bass), Adam Simons (lead guitar), and David Glosser (second guitar). Named after the Third Eye Blind song, "Motorcycle Drive By," this young group has built up a snowballing momentum and is poised to make an impact. Radiodriveby traces its origins to a church youth group where the members started making music.

It wasn't long before they realized they shared a desire to take their art to the next level. In 2011, the band ditched their day jobs to hit the road. It wasn't long before they took over the Southwest with word of mouth support, social media enthusiasm and new fans at every tour stop. Faced with the reality and adversity of breaking through their financial hurdles, the band recommitted to their mission of becoming the next big thing in American pop music.

After the debut of their EP, On Your Way, Radiodriveby found themselves on the airwaves not only in the U.S., but reaching top 40 success in the Philippines as well. With the release of two new singles in 2013 and an upcoming tour in the Philippines alongside All Time Low and A Rocket to the Moon, Radiodriveby are indeed well on their way to making a name for themselves in the international music landscape.

All the boys from RadioDriveBy are in their early twenties and share a great musical talent and creativity. With professional production, powerful vocal stylings, finely tuned pop rock guitar grooves and soaring harmonies, RadioDriveBy is music that can take on the world.
