Chosen in January to be the face and sound of Vodafone’s national TV ad campaign with MTV’s Ruby Rose, Radio INK are currently taking their brand spankin’ new show around the hottest clubs to tie in with the launch of their second single, Give Me What You Got.

The band became one of the first indie artists to chart to #1 on Austereo’s new digital station Radar Radio where they were voted to the top spot for five consecutive weeks by the Aussie public.

Having emerged from seasons sweating it on the dance music circuit, Radio INK opened We Love Sounds Festival 09 mixing electronics and dance beats with live rock instruments and vocals. Residents at Sydney’s popular Piano Room, Radio INK also headline shows at some of Sydney’s premier venues and clubs including Favela, The Argyle, The Golden Sheaf and Trademark. They’ve performed with acts such as The Potbelleez, Art Vs Science, Amy Meredith, and Grafton Primary.

With pumping bass lines, catchy melodic arrangements and sleek styling, Radio INK’s appeal has grabbed the attention of various journalists, international bloggers and industry insiders who are hailing the group as following the footsteps of Sneaky Sound System, The Presets and Rogue Traders.

“Radio Ink is one of the most excited electro pop groups I've heard come out of Sydney in a while. Their sound fuses a sparkling female pop vocal (reminiscent of Dragonette) and a Van She style...” Jan 2010, You Would If You Had Robot Ears (renowned international blogger).
