Bio

"I am a rock band everyday. And I'm never gonna give up the ghost, never give it up, rationalize it away. No I'm never gonna give up the dead that you want me to, but I'm full of surprises and I'm one step closer...."

Prophetic and soberingly honest lyrics from a vital, original band comprised of veteran musicians with a drive to succeed surpassed only by their talent. RadioRadio share the highbrow pop/rock sensibility of bands like The Killers, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs and David Bowie, but make no mistake-there is only one RadioRadio.....

This four-piece rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma has a presence and message that commands attention, and whether on-onstage or in-studio they consistently deliver. There are a lot of good bands crisscrossing America, but RadioRadio is special. Of their 2008 SXSW performance, Tara Hall of liveDaily wrote, "RadioRadio was dramatic and engaging, as they moved seamlessly through tracks off their full-length debut, "Watch 'Em All Come Runnin'".

While the music speaks for itself, RadioRadio's visual presentation is second to none. Vocalist Greg Hosterman is the consummate front man, and along with bassist Paul Cristiano, guitarist Ben Hosterman and drummer Scott Taylor the band serves notice the second they walk on stage that they are more than just another band. In addition to their stylish attire, the band's video presentation is innovatively customized rivaling any big budget act.

"Music fans here are a fickle lot" wrote Jennifer Chancellor of the Tulsa World, "but occasionally there are spontaneous moments that overtake audiences. During RadioRadio's set on Wednesday night, people suddenly started breaking out cell phone cameras and camcorders, recording the moment...it happened in about five seconds-[it didn't take long for] the crowd to decide that it really liked RadioRadio."

RadioRadio has released one full-length effort, 2006's "Watch 'Em All Come Runnin'", a single, "Bedcheck", dedicated to the memory of pioneer Tulsa radio DJ Jan Dean and an EP "Alarm 1 Alarm 2" which was released in summer of 2008.

"Watch 'Em All Come Runnin'" garnered critical acclaim and found an audience crossing formats from Top 40 to Alternative/Modern Rock commercial radio. "Bedcheck" was homage to one of Tulsa's most ardent supporters of local music. Jan Dean's influential nighttime broadcast, "Bedcheck", gave many local acts their first, and in some cases, their only radio play. The single was released in conjunction with a benefit concert in her honor. The release of "Alarm 1 Alarm 2" marked the next stage in the band's evolution and it was on the strength of this EP that RadioRadio landed a slot at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas. In addition to the enthusiastic reception of the audience in Austin, their performance led to collaborations with Grammy-nominated engineer Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party, We Are Scientists) who did a single remix for their song "BBC" and multi platinum producer Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Europe, Ratt) who contacted the band and subsequently produced and remixed their latest single "I, Computer".

What exactly happens next remains to be seen, but if history tells us anything it's that RadioRadio is full of surprises-and every show puts them one step closer to their destiny of rock stardom!
