Radio was born and raised in Southern California. His love for music came in his early years after high school. Influenced by legends such as Lauryn Hill, Kanye West, and Raphael Saadiq to name a few, he began to write. While writing to other producer’s beats, he decided that he wasn’t content with what was being offered, so he began to produce alongside his writing. The future of hip-hop was born.
Today, Radio has been compared to Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest, Lupe and others along these calibers. He has a unique sound, context, and delivery placing him in his own genre, alternative urban hip-hop. His ability and “ear” to masterly produce and write his own music enhances his creative style and technique. His endurance and talents speaks for itself to say, “this is only the beginning of the making…”
