Raezr

Born in Lansing, Michigan in 1991, Raezr (Government: Collin Doerr-Newton) has been creating music since the summer of 2004, and since that time, his growth has not stopped. Taking much influence from artists like T.I., Big L, and Public Enemy, his style is fresh and unique to what is usually seen in the hip hop industry. Choosing truth over lies and materialism, his lyrics portray the facts of his life and his experiences. His stage name, Raezr, stems from both the "sharp" contrast of his style from the rest of the hip hop industry, as well as the "sharpness" of his flow, lyrics, beats etc. Of his first three albums, the first two, Far From Blunt and Laceration/Deep Cutz, has followed this theme. Believing that both perseverance and education are essential to success in the music industry, Raezr will be attending Michigan Technological University to study Audio Production & Technology in order to further advance his craft.
