Bio

Raffinae chartered her musical background from a very young age. Born to a mother who was a singer with gospel roots and a father who wrote/produced music. By the age of three Raffinae began to show signs of musical interest and spirit. She would spend endless hours in the mirror impersonating singers. Her first recording was a rendition of " The Boy is Mine," by Brandy and Monica.

Raffinae later at the age of nine began to write and arrange songs. She spent endless hours writing a diary of songs that were well beyond her life experiences. She loved to perform these songs for her family and friends. As a result of a talent show, Raffinae and two of her friends decided to start a group. This group later became LMH - " Ladies Making History."

Often being called the petite - up and coming "Chaka Kahn." The group went on to make a self titled CD that included several songs that were co-written, arranged and produced by Raffinae, members of the group and her father.
