Bio
After a short solo attempt (very short--maybe months), and being told she could either become some big-time NY producer's sock-puppet or forget a music career, Chelsea got back to doing what she does best: song-writing. Her partner in crime this time was studio producer John Davis's son Steele. Her original request for guitar parts to some melodies became an undeniable forging of something bigger. Acoustic turned to electric turned to loud turned to boom and they went in search of the rest.
Ian, an old jam buddy of Steele's, came in one day to lay some beats. Ian lived across the street yet was ill-defined in distance or time as the missing musical component. RAG was, indeed, birthed.
(Bass players, on the other hand, are all roving musical nomads. Yes, when they park their suitcase at our house for some time we play gigs. There is always bass. But the bassist is never always.)
The band now splits their writing time with eating and sleeping. They write an average of 3 songs a week. Every show is a new mix.
Won't you come itch our scratch some time?
