Erica-Sommer a.k.a. the chocolate Pamela Anderson, or the punk-rock Tyra Banks, fronts the high-energy “crunk-rock” band, RAGING GEISHA. The music combines the best qualities of rock, urban, punk, and pop delivering a sound and vibe unlike anything else out there! RAGING GEISHA is a triple threat with the strong vocal ability of the tantalizingly sexy, charismatic front-woman, Erica-Sommer, driven by the hottest musicians in Florida, raging ahead with crossover, commercial radio hits!

RAGING GEISHA has played every venue in Florida/South Fl., including the Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale areas, and South Beach, where they are especially known for their unique brand of “beach punk”. RAGING GEISHA has a unique ability to rock any stadium or live music venue, and yet perform as a feature act in popular dance clubs throughout South Beach, normally only known for resident and guest DJs. Just to name a few of RAGING GEISHA’s more high profile gigs, they have played the Florida Music Festival in Orlando two years in a row, opened for Smashmouth at the Jacksonville Stadium during the famous UGA/UF game, headlined as one of the premiere acts at the brand new national venue, STUDIO A in the Entertainment District of Miami, as well as national/international venue, THE CULTURE ROOM, and one of the only live rock bands to ever perform at the internationally famous Winter Music Conference! Their fans number all over the state, and thanks to those fans as well as great marketing tools like MySpace, today RAGING GEISHA has fans all over the world, especially in the U. S., South America, Canada, the U. K., Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Malaysia, and of course—JAPAN!
RAGING GEISHA front-woman, Erica-Sommer, originally from Atlanta, GA, started writing and performing her songs at an early age. Upon her relocation to Miami, FL, Erica-Sommer formed her first original rock band, E-S-P. Although, Erica-Sommer’s influences range between various styles and artists like Greenday, No Doubt, Garbage, Skunk Anansie, Muse, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Nina Simone, and Pat Benetar, she quickly developed her own style and vibe, showcasing her strong, intense voice, her feisty stage presence, and colorful expression. In 2001, Erica-Sommer began the long-lived collaboration with current music partner, Dave Siegel.
RAGING GEISHA bassist/keyboardist David Siegel is a songwriting/producing veteran who has worked with Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Clay Aiken, Enrique Iglesias, Jessica Simpson, Marc Anthony, Thalia, and more. Erica-Sommer and David formed RAGING GEISHA five years ago (formerly under the name E-S-P), but only recently completed their latest demo, or as everyone refers to it as the RAGING GEISHA “collection of singles”, submitted now for your listening pleasure!
