It's been a long time in the making, but the Ragtime Willi Band is on the verge of releasing its first-ever full-length CD, "Prodigal Sons."
Depending on how you look at it, the CD has taken nearly 34 years to produce. That's if you take it from the point when the band first formed in 1977. Ragtime Willi changed personnel and eventually went on hiatus for several years, reincarnating in 2006.
But no matter what the timeline, "Prodigal Sons" is steeped in musical devotion. And the band's faithful following will have a chance to rejoice in Ragtime Willi's significant accomplishment during a CD release party on Saturday - Reading Eagle
