Girls Night Out

Written By: Caroline Kovas & Mario Massi

Friday night
Got the girls all here we're looking out of sight
My new jeans on, they're sitting low and tight
Dolled up right, for the town tonight

Start the car, put the top down even though it ain't that far
music pumping as we pull up to the bar
they know who we are
tonight we're all rockstars

Oh boys eyes off these baby blues
cause they ain't for you

We're hell raising, heart breaking, hard drinking, guitar slinging, crazy mother truckers like no others that you ever seen

Oh we'll be dancing all night long
Be drinking until dawn
Show you what crazy's all about
On a Girl's Night Out

Get on the Floor
Gonna dance till they throw us out that door
Round of shots, bartender just one more
Maybe three or four
Oh honey let me pour (come on)

Boys steer clear from girls like us
You can look but you can't touch

We're hell raising, heart breaking, hard drinking, guitar slinging, crazy mother truckers like no others that you ever seen

Oh we'll be dancing all night long
Be drinking until dawn
Show you what crazy's all about
On a Girl's Night Out

Now Beth's in the corner with a boy from Arizona who's a ringer for Johnny Cash
Sarah's on the dance floor, all the boys wantin' more, Man she loves that
Girl watch your drink
Stronger than you think

We're hell raising, heart breaking, hard drinking, guitar slinging, crazy mother truckers like no others that you ever seen

Oh we'll be dancing all night long
Be drinking until dawn
Show you what crazy's all about
On a Girl's Night Out

Going Cross Country

Written By: Caroline Kovas & Mario Massi (ASCAP)

Girl pack your bags
We're gonna hit the road, gonna head out west
Two childhood friends and a map
put this old Ford to the test

Gonna waste three months chasing sunsets in that summertime sky
Cruise cowboys in Texas, try some California wine

A tank of gas and that
radio blasting its
all we'll ever need
Roll the windows down
Sing our favorite songs
two girls wild, wild and free
on our roadtrip summer
going Cross Country

Stop at a roadside stand
try some of Pat's famous pink lemonade
drive on down to Nashville, hit the Station Inn
See them bluegrass pickers play
Stop in Cawker City Kansas
take a picture with the biggest ball of twine
Go through all of Colorado
singing John Denver's Rocky Mountain High

A tank of gas and that radio blasting it's all we'll ever need
Take the back dirt roads, by the highline poles
making black top memories
roll the windows down
sing our favorite songs
two girls wild, wild and free
on our road trip summer going
cross country

Girl pack your bags we're gonna hit the road
Gonna head out west

Trouble Rides With Me

Written By: Caroline Kovas & Mario Massi

Me and my sister sitting home on Friday night
Daddy gave us curfew, said that we were both through
too much beers boys ain't right
Trapped on our front porch prison
whole world driving by
started planning our escape, break out of the gate
for one last time
saw Daddy's truck, sitting in the drive
gonna test our luck with a one way ticket hellion's ride

Put the key key in it
gotta get get with it
we got five five minutes till daddy finds out
pedal to the metal
get it down down level
we'll be burning up rubber getting out of town
open road in front of me
chasing us to Tennessee
cause trouble rides with me
trouble rides with me yeah
trouble rides with me

We saw that old gas station right round 2am
bought a pack of reds, pulled some beers from the bed
started laughing bout our crazy plan
we saw those blue lights flashing a mile down the road
cops were hot on the trail, bet daddy's mad as hell
drop your beer let's go
started looking round but couldn't find the keys
aww come on hurry up, I'm begging you oh please!

Put the key key in it
gotta get get with it
we got five five minutes till daddy finds out
pedal to the metal
get it down down level
we'll be burning up rubber getting out of town
open road in front of me
chasing us to Tennessee
cause trouble rides with me
trouble rides with me yeah
trouble rides with me

We saw that old dirt road
pulled off, lights down low
5-0 right behind
girl go go go

Put the key key in it
gotta get get with it
we got five five minutes till daddy finds out
pedal to the metal
get it down down level
we'll be burning up rubber getting out of town
open road in front of me
chasing us to Tennessee
cause trouble rides with me
trouble rides with me yeah
trouble rides with me
