Ragweed are a raw energetic rock band, they moved to Brighton in the Summer of 2010. Formerly known as Adverse Camber they played with the likes of Tweak Bird, Sham 69 and The Misfits.
After hitting a dead end with punk rock, the band decided to make some changes, punk was and would still be a corner stone, but no longer the be all and end all. Along with a name and line up changed, the band came back as Ragweed, taking their name from a stubborn, irritating weed. The band had their first gig with the new sound and line up in May 2010 at the Florence and The Machine After Party in Blackpool.
After picking up a sizeable local following in Devon with their energetic style,they decided to move to Brighton where they hope to make name for themselves.
Ragweed take influences from band such as: Tweak Bird, Biffy Clyro, Tool, Bitch Alert, Putrid Flowers, R.A.T.M, Mudhoney, Pandora, Manson, Rancid, Big Black, L7, Boss Hog and many many more.
