R.A.H.

R.A.H. formerly known as Rahsaan Scott was born on November 9th 1977 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born to a single hard working mother who raised him and his five siblings the best that she could. Growing up in the rough streets of Pittsburgh Rahsaan turned to GOD and music for comfort. Music surrounded Rahsaan as a child. He sang in the childrens choir, the adult choir, and he sang in the chorus all through his years of school. With music as his passion Rahsaan emerged himself into all types of genre's of music such as Soul/R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Gospel, Rock, Reggae, Latin, House music and more. This is what makes up his unique diverse sound, which touches and inspires people all around the world. Rahsaan is currently attending Graduate School for his masters degree in education for community counseling. Rahsaan isn't just a singer he is a song writer and he does a little bit of producing. R.A.H. is a humanitarian through his music!

R.A.H. has worked with producers whose names are Pekanzo (Pittsburgh), Eclectic (Conneticut), Big M (France), B.Q. (Greece), the Gym (Washington D.C.), Bougard (France), Hokube (France), Deejoe (France), Shade Cobain (Pittsburgh), U'noo Kim (Korea). As well as MC's whose names are Trigger the Soldier (Aruba), FeWcH (Massachusetts), Jero Sunjata (France), Cheick (France), Ayatollah Jaxx (Pittsburgh), Idasa Tariq (Pittsburgh), Yung Trendz (Virginia), El matador (Europe). He has performed at April's Tavern (Feb 18, 2009) and Shadow Lounge which both are in Pittsburgh. But he has become a house hold name at the Shadow Lounge because he has been performing there since October of 2004. With his band Soul Fresh who are Joy Brown (Keyboard), Michael the extraordinary gentleman (drums), and Ralph Crewe (bass) rocked the house at the Shadow Lounge August 11 2009. He released his first cd called Love & Sex August 25, 2009. He has another cd coming out in early 2010 called A.L.L.O.N.E. He has written over 50 songs and thats including his collaborations with MC's. He is now in top ten on the R&B/Soul charts for Pittsburgh on thereverbnation website.
