Bio

Rahi High's first band was The Four Hundred Blows, which was a soul/punk outfit that he sang lead in. FHB played small clubs and parties in late 90's Southern California.

In 2000 he relocated to Holland, where he joined Allice, his first band as a rhythm guitarist, co-lead singer and the chief songwriter. Allice landed a top 200 hit with the Ground Records single, "(She's As) Good as Heaven," before disbanding at the end of 2001.

Feeling restless for home in the post-911 climate, Rahi moved to New York's Lower East Side in 2002. There he started making a name for himself as a gifted songwriter in the local coffee house scene that was springing up along Alphabet City's Avenue B and C streets. It was also here that he bought his first acoustic guitar and started creating his own unique music style. Late 2003 and 2004, Rahi took time off from gigging to produce the Showtime documentary "Damaged Goods," which he also scored and produced the film's soundtrack.

In 2005 he completed his first CD, "Snapshot." "With Snapshot," says Rahi, "I decided to take it to the streets... Literally!" For the past year Rahi embarked on a busking journey that took him across North America, performing in cities as diverse as Montreal to Memphis, Toronto, Niagra Falls, New York City and the world famous Santa Monica Promenade. This has been documentated in the film "Not @ hmv," which will be released in late Spring 2007. In early February Rahi will go into the studio to record "Come to Light," his first studio CD.
