I' m a writer that sings and plays guitar. I'm a veteran and family man that lives in Compton Ca. so of course my music includes Rap.(a type that draws a wide range of listeners). I'm a pictorial type of artist so painting with music came naturally in these, my later years.
My desire is to continue the oldies but goodies styles of music with originals songs and i've written a bunch. I self produced many songs but have formally published only a few. A situation that requires only a little mastering, and action to remedy. I've performed in Churches , a few venues like the 'Palms Restaurant' in LA and the 'Sky Room' in Long Beach,Ca. with a band call Masterpiece, as a singer. I've recently been a self-styled DJ/one- man- band in an Ocean side Ca. restaurant called 'Felix's BBQ with Soul' for 3 days a week for a year. Here I sang (and played guitar )pop and jazz and R&B cover tunes, my own originals (with my unpublished CDs accompaniments) and played along with other peoples CDs. A fulfilling and enjoyable situation for myself and my dinning listeners(I'm told).

(1)I won and Internet song contest (2005)and consequently my song 'Aint Nobody To Dance With' ( a rap song)is the featured as the 1st. song on a Military tribute CD called 'Rhythym Of Honor' which features 10 other artist from across the US. It's by GoodNightkiss and SceneStealer Music(by Janet Fisher).
(2)My song 'Bells Jingle' was licensed to and performed by 'The Voices Of the Supremes' on their Christmas CD (2009).
(3) I've just published a 5 song Lakers Tribute CD (2010) called 'Go lakers thrill Us Once Again'. for the Play-offs. (on CDBABY.COM Amazon.com and Itunes among others)

I Don't have deep credentials but what I do have is music that pleases diverse age and ethnic groups. Music that i'm told (repeatedly) by listeners, is "Soothing"; lifts their spirits; Is Imaginative, entertaining, uplifting and creative.
I write and sing about Tried and True love, Romantic love, Life situations . I don't like sad songs and even my blues songs have happy endings and hope.The songs today are not blessing the audiences in these tumultuous times . People want encouragement and I'm doing my best to get it to them. My market research(talking to and playing for fans) tells me that I must take my music right to the fans so shall it be. I have gospel songs don't in many genres.

I,m told my voice is mellow and soothing, and changes with the song, reminding people of various great artist of the past and painting pictures of "kicking on the Riviera or "cruising down the highway". I'm told I play an awesome guitar. I'm told I'm among the one of the best writers today. These are not my imaginings or boasts. I'm just repeated what I've been told. See for yourself.
