Lyrics

Not You

Written By: Rahman D'Amato

Because you’re never really there.
Because you took the flowers and made them all turn brown.
Because your love has turned to stone.
It must be someone else not you.
I guess it’s someone else not you.

Because you tore me up inside,
Because you used me up- and tossed me on the ground.
Because there’s nothing I can do.
It must be someone else not you.
I guess it’s someone else not you.

When you called me on the phone,
You said “You’re not what I like anymore”.
And then you told me you were threw.
You said “I’m sorry if I’m wrong,”
“But It’s time for me to move on”.
And then you walked out of the room...

Because you never really cared.
Because you never took the time to understand.
Because you never really knew me at all.
It must be someone else not you.
I guess it’s someone else not you.

When you told me you were gone,
You said that you don’t care anymore.
And then you told me you were threw.
You said “I hope you understand”.
“I’m not doin’ this to be cruel”.
But then you blew my heart away.
You said “I’m sorry if I’m wrong,”
“But It’s time for me to move on”.
And then you walked out of the room.

It must be someone else not you.
It must be someone else not you.
It must be someone else not you.
I Guess it’s someone else not you.

House Of Bones

Written By: Rahman D'Amato

You take these flowers
and I’ll take these bones.
The closer I get to the meaning
the more that I know.
I believe if I’m on trial
I have a right to defend.
So take all these curses you’ve laid
and leave me again.

I held onto the light but the fire is gone
leaving me empty & cold...
The closer I get- there’s no warmth in your eyes.
So take all these Flowers-
and leave me this house full of bones...

You take these roses
and I’ll take these thorns.
The closer you get to the feeling
The more that you’ll know.
I believe it’s your right to be angry
But still I’m so torn.
So take all these memories- with you
I don’t want them any more.

I held onto the light but the fire is gone
leaving me empty & cold...
The closer I get- there’s no warmth in your eyes.
So take all these Flowers-
and leave me this house full of bones...

Guitar Solo

I held onto the light but the fire is gone
leaving me empty & cold...
The closer I get- there’s no warmth in your eyes.
So take all these Flowers-
and leave me this house full of bones...

Rearrange

Written By: Rahman D'Amato

I’ve been wondering if you could change-
just a little bit, for me.
And I’ve been wondering if you could re-arrange
your attitude, towards me.
‘Cause I can’t stand the way you speak to me,
The way you look at me,- or how it feels.
Just because you’ve seen me vulnerable,
doesn’t mean that I have no strength.
Just because you’ve seen the pain in me,
doesn’t mean that I need you to care.

‘Cause I don’t need your sympathy,
and I don’t need your love.
I don’t need you to comfort me,
I just a need a friend.
I don’t want your sympathy,
and I don’t want your love.
I don’t want you to mother me,
I just want a friend.

I’ve been wondering if you could change-
just a little bit, for me.
I’ve been wondering if you could re-arrange
the way you're feeling, towards me.
‘Cause I don’t think you really understand,
what I am made of- or how I feel.
Just because you know I’m sensitive,
doesn’t mean that I need you to care.
Just because you’ve seen the fear in my eyes,
doesn’t mean that I am not ok.

‘Cause I don’t need your sympathy,
and I don’t need your love.
I don’t need you to comfort me,
I just a need a friend.
I don’t want your sympathy,
and I don’t want your love.
I don’t want you to mother me,
I just want a friend.

Maybe you don’t understand-
what I’m made of, or how I feel.
It’s hard me to give a damn-
when I feel you, lookin’ down on me.
I am not what you think, despite your feelings,
and what ‘you think you see.
Don’t try to take me by the hand,
‘Cause you don’t know me, I am not what you think.

‘Cause I don’t need your sympathy,
and I don’t need your love.
I don’t need you to comfort me,
I just a need a friend.
I don’t want your sympathy,
and I don’t want your love.
I don’t want you to mother me,
I just want a friend.
‘Cause I don’t need your sympathy,
and I don’t need your love.
I don’t need you to comfort me,
I just a need a friend.
I don’t want your sympathy,
and I don’t want your love.
I don’t want you to mother me,
I just want a friend.
