Bio
Rahrah Gabor is a NYC-based, up-and-coming, openly gay, hip-hop artist. Self-described as "hip hop's Omar Little from The Wire only prettier" with his rhymes as his shotgun, Rahrah raps about everything from street life to twerking with the word play of Lil' Wayne and the lewdness of Lil' Kim. Rahrah Gabor's music is original, raw, real and unruly. He holds nothing back and his fans often pause and question," Did he really just say that?".
Raised in the inner-city of Asbury Park, NJ, Gabor started rapping in the 10th grade to prove to his classmates that a gay boy can rap just as well, if not better, as his straight counterparts. He cites 1990s New York hip hop as his primary influence, including artists like Notorious B.I.G., Lil' Kim, Jadakiss, Foxy Brown and Nas. A hungry artist with a searing passion for music, Rahrah Gabor is ready to show hip-hop what a gay rapper can really do on the mic.
Rahrah Gabor dropped his debut mix tape, Faerie King, last summer which features cuts like "King Bitch", a flawlessly executed remix of Lil' Kim's classic Hardcore record "Queen Bitch", EDM club bangers "Snack Cakez" and "Assquake", the trap heavy "Stack Richez", an unforgettable freestyle over The Lox's "Money, Power,Respect" and much more. Currently Rahrah Gabor is prepping the release of his second project, Brave New World Order, an EP which features the symphonic "Hard Timez" and the dance-inducing tune "Double Dutch".
