"Amazing performance by Rahzemos, he really knows how to teach and entertain at the same time, really memorable experience." - CJE NDG

"Arabian Paladium"

Little B, Lil' John, Lil’Buck, Lil’ Romeo. These are all the cliché names that we’re hearing in the Hip Hop industry today and it seems like they all talk, act, look and rhyme the same way. Aren’t you tired of hearing about how these guys have more money than you, or how he’s going to rub up on your girl while he sips his drink in the club with his thousand dollar stack in cash. These so called “Artists” obviously aren’t preaching anything positive, or productive that would lead to a revelation in someone’s life. They are just corrupting the minds of our younger generations to come by filling their heads with materialistic and superficial dreams. Wouldn’t you like to hear some warm, rhythmic melodies over razor sharp lyrics that actually have a meaning?

Artist like Ramzi “RahZemos” Mokdad,CEO/Artist of Nocturnalight Records is one of the revolutionaries who fights against this kind of behavior as a human first, but foremost as a representative of the Hip Hop and Arts community. Hailing from Lebanon, this Arabian entrepreneur began his music career at the tender age of 16, recording tracks, and setting up shows to get the word across about what real Hip Hop should sound like. Today, Rah has taken the stage at hundreds of events and performed in front of thousands while talking about the positive change that Hip Hop needs to make and the steps it needs to take to get there. His independent record label was founded in 2003 and has attracted corporate sponsorship from Moosehead Beer, Off the Hook, Moog Audio, and many others that have seen extreme potential in this company and artist.
Rah’s whole concepts and ideologies stem from his past experiences growing up in war ridden countries such as Lebanon and Saudi Arabia during the Gulf Wars and the ongoing Lebanese war. Growing up in a non-traditional Islamic family, he quickly learned that there are several types of wars and oppression taking place in our world and not just the physical ones. His lyrics concentrate on describing impoverished environments, politics, misogyny, colonialism, and several other topics that will keep you questioning the society you live in.. Media outlets such as CTV, City TV, CJLO,LBC News and WeFunk Radio have all interviewed or played Rah’s music to help spread his conscious and community oriented movement. His music has even been featured on a documentary called The Aramco Brat Story that has screened all over America and has a selling sound track with his music on it. If you want to listen to music that will make you vibe while your hearing some life enlightening lyrics, this is the MC you should be listening to.
