Railways Gone

Singer/songwriter Scott Loss formed Railways Gone as a theme band in the late nineties to showcase his original compositions, and pay homage to the great songwriters of the age. Influenced by Townes VanZandt, James Mcmurtry, Darrel Scott and John Hiatt, the band will occasionally perform popular grooves by other folk based bands such as the Grateful Dead. As a refuge in a sea of Jam bands, Railways Gone invites you to experience real songwriting as it lives and breathes, with purpose and intention. Percussionist Josh Lautenberg and Bassist John Bunkelmann round out the core, with Pianist Steve Szindler and special guest vocalist Kenny Wander occasionally appearing with the band.
