In 2001, Kim Van Weyenbergh aka Rain Dog started his musical journey. This journey brought him to all kinds of places in Flanders. As a solo artist, duo or trio he played the support for acts like Kevin Coyne, Magnapop, BJ Scott...
Guitar under the arm, he boarded a plane and crossed the Atlantic and landed in cities like Chicago, New York and Atlanta. The music of the Louvain born singer-songwriter, was welcomed in the legendary Bitter End club.
With new experiences ands songs he recorded his debut album Home Ground in 2014. The album got him a spot on the Labadoux festival, a selection for the Dranouter rally, a live session for Radio Durango,... . One of his songs made it to the semi finals of the US singer songwriter contest. With a support for Mary's Little Lamb 2014 ended in style.
With Rain Dog temporarily on hold in 2015 and the focus on a new band Lucky Came to Town, Rain Dog played the acoustic stage of the renown Suikerrock festival in Tienen.
