"The Church Of The New Moustachio, March 21, Audiocinema"

"With psychedelic, hyperactive video projections providing visual accompaniment, three-piece scuzz-punk band Raised by Television plowed through two songs with bouncy bass lines and sloppy abandon. Not to be outdone by Los Moustachios, RBT’s frontman was decked out like an oversized lick-a-color Popsicle—big red wig, bright-yellow tee reading “Sugar Daddy” and ripped orange pants." - Willamette Week

"Turn that thing Off!"

"An appropriate name for a band that harnesses a pulsing electronic overdose of fuzz, in order to show us in various creative ways, exactly how we live our lives. Underneath the prevalent static of whining synths, grinding bass, and crunching electro drumbeats, are surprisingly vulnerable vocals akin to MGMT or Conor Oberst." - VanVoice.com

Bio

Raised by Television is a Portland, OR based DIY/DIT eclectic music collective featuring the multi-media creative works of
Michael Miew, Maxwell Hunter, Eric August, and Sierra Stinson.

Created by Michael Miew, Raised by Television is an "all media, all genre project centered around the core belief that ideas are living entities and should evolve with the artist."

Every self-published album is available for free on http://www.raisedby.tv

• Side L is a collection of electro-pop love songs, the first in a four-part Series called 'The Love Record'

• Amphetamines is an agressive/spastic "scuzz-punk" rock album inspired by the remembrances of growing up on Ritalin.

• Electrons could be described as tongue-in-cheek after-party electronic dance-pop ear candy.

• Anachronism features eclectic demos, collaborations, and b-sides. Many songs are the brave survivors of multiple computer crashes, with missing masters.

High Resolution downloads of Amphetamines, Electrons and Anachronism include album artwork, foldsleeve and CD Label templates.

Other Raised by Television releases include an
on-air performance on KPSU and two volumes of a collaborative EP series, Emerson Sessions.
Recorded in RBTV's in-home studio at The Treehouse in Portland's Alberta Arts District, Emerson Sessions features unrehearsed jam sessions with friends of Raised by Television.
