Raised By Wolves is an indie folk duo based out of Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of Scott Mehus (guitar, production) and Whitney Wolf (vocals, piano). The pair met while attending Berklee College of Music in 2009 and quickly began playing on various projects together. After years of collaborating, the duo decided to join forces and begin writing their first album as a two-piece band.
Raised By Wolves has a lot of different colors and come from two completely different musical backgrounds. They mix a combination of folk/blues harmonies with soulful melodies. There's funny songs, and sad songs, and funny sad songs.
The duo is looking forward to a busy fall and winter. Between writing and recording their debut EP they will also be performing as part of the CMJ Music Festival in NY this fall.
