Raishein

Raishein (Pronounced Ray-sheen), contemporary gospel pop music’s new crowned Princess, is an anointed singer, actress, songwriter and international recording artist. She relies on truth and writes from her own remarkable life experiences. Every musical testimony is a page torn from her diary. She composes songs that speak to the perseverance of the human spirit by transforming her wounds into a source of strength.

In 2002, Raishein became a covenant partner and music minister with Faith World in Orlando, Florida. Through God’s direction, she obediently relocated with her family to Houston, Texas in 2004 and joined Trinity Fellowship Church, where she was most recently one of the praise and worship leaders.

Raishein starred in the touring musical, "Confessions of a Preacher's Wife" in 2008 which was based in Houston, Texas and is looking to grace her way into film and television projects. In the near future, Raishein is going to debut her own talk show called, "The Light, Salt N' Sound Show" which will be based in Houston, Texas. With the completion of the adroit album titled “Believe”, Raishein has delivered an impressive, powerful, and moving debut. As the album unfolds, Raishein leads audiences deeper into her world, walking them through a place of worship through her experiences and emotions. The CD reveals that if you “Believe” in Jesus, He “can” make a way out of no way. Raishein has had appearances on the Bobby Jones Gospel TV show for his New Orleans taping in 2009. Her music video, "I've Got Joy" has been airing on BET's Video Gospel TV show and TBN's Network on their station called JCTV. She has shared the platform with some of God's musical gifts to the body of Christ to name a few: Fred Hammond, T.D. Jakes, Shei Atkins, T-Bone, R.A.G.E., J. Xavier, Jimmy Mitchell, Da Fishermayne, Adrian Medearis & God’s Anointed People, Marcus D. Wiley, Gospel Dream 2008 Winner Melinda Watts, Soulfruit, Youthful Praise, Bubby Fann & Praise Beyond, Mary Ann Markarian, Yunek, The Wardlaw Brothers, Von Won, Trey 9, Gifted the flamethrower, Zeeda, 007, The Warriors, Cy, Brinson, Mona Moore, Endurance, Building 429, Johnny B. Williams, Lacresia Campbell and sang background for Larue Howard from FaithWorld Church in Orlando, Florida as a frontline worship leader.

Raishein recently released her debut album, “Believe” on 2-10-2009. Raishein is working on the next project, "Make a Way" which is set for release Spring of 2011. Her new single, "My Everything" is currently available at cdbaby.com/raishein1 and she will be releasing the video for the song in September 2010.
