Raising Grey was created with the goal of having fun and making great music. Five very different people coming together, all bringing their extremely diverse spectrum of influences to the table. The music is energetic and soulful, earthy yet technical. With no restrictions of flavor or format, Raising Grey creates a very catchy, unique, tasty and hard-hitting acoustic soul groove rock experience.
Delivering high energy performances throughout the region has stirred attention and anticipation for Raising Grey's upcoming debut release Constantly Arranging. The full-length LP will feature songs such as Ungrooved & Nutty, One Chance and their powerful remake of the classic While My Guitar Gently Weeps (written by George Harrison). Following the scheduled release in the fall of 2004, Raising Grey will be touring in support of their album.
Throughout the years, Raising Grey has formed a healthy and constantly growing fan base, making them a premier band in the local scene. They have been working regularly, playing in various clubs throughout and surrounding Kansas City, Lawrence, Wichita, St. Louis and Columbia.
