Biography

Rally Rally began in Austin, TX with the strumming of an electric guitar over drum loops and came together from the urge to merge punk enthusiasm with indie craft and electronic freedom.

The lyrics are too good to call it electro pop. The hair isn't perfect enough for it to be indie dance. It's an expansive perspective of music from a few friends who've spent late nights partying on Red River and early mornings DJing at warehouse parties.

The lineup includes internationally released electronic producers/DJs, studio engineers, and band veterans who incorporate a variety of instruments and approaches to reinterpret their live performance to maximum effect. The result of which includes eight minute synth driven rave ups, boozy singalongs, indie funk and punk aesthetics. Dig.

Rally Rally completed its first EP, Morning Static Rock in late Febuary of 2010. It was recorded at Good Danny Studios and mastered by Erik Wofford. Available at iTunes and other good digital shops.

We've just completed recording a new 3 song EP, Hot Pursuit, again at Good Danny Studios. Now it's all about the live shows.

Lyrics

Life In Static

Written By: Adam Salazar

sometimes for money
sometimes for fun
with girls and boys
and drugs and guns
behind closed doors or
in public places

nothin ever changes
nothin ever changes
nothin...whoa oh oh

dreamin and schemin
workin on the getaway
noone is leavin there's
no hope of escapin
this place these plans and
temporary arrangements

nothin ever changes
nothin ever changes
nothin...whoa oh oh

it's dejavu all over again (what)
it's dejavu all over again
it's you and me and her and him
us and we and they and them
all our love and hate
our riots and embraces

nothin ever changes
nothin ever changes
nothin...whoa oh oh

it's a life in static
from beginning to end
it's a life automatic
over and over and over again

Morning

Written By: Adam Salazar

the evenings gettin better
comin through the speakers
the frequencies are odd
gettin even with the tweeters
and something sweet like sedatives
is sneaking up on us again
and everythings alright
just shut up and take your medicine

its two o clock in the morning
its three o clock in the morning
its four o clock and this is just a warning

you never mind the spotlight
the strobelight or your shaky eyes
you got a view here to see clear through
to the other side
and everyones on the dance floor
everybody still wants more
and life is just a good time
thats waiting to be reborn

its two o clock in the morning
its three o clock in the morning
its four o clock and this is just a warning

its passed out in the bathroom
or waiting up in bed for you
or high heeled and embarrassed
and its got some explainin to do
like where the hell ya been now
or baby let me in or out
or come on come on come on
you know we're just friends but how

its two o clock in the morning
its three o clock in the morning
its four o clock and this is just a warning

tonight we'll do it all again
tomorrow doesn't matter when
the music keeps on playin
and the party party never ends
