Eddy Mac

Eddy Mac

 Napa, California, USA
BandPopSinger/Songwriter

Eddy Mac music is "Acoustasonic Rock/Pop" with a twist at times..go figure. The contributing artists are as diverse as the music itself, all very accomplished players who each at different times heard "Eddy" unplugged and offered they're chops. A definite departure from mainstream rock

Biography

Eddy is a self taught singer/songwriter who began his journey in southern California. "I was given a little 3/4 size

Yamaha acoustic guitar by my older brother, when he was home on leave from the Coast Guard" , and all he said to me was

"just don't stop, that's all I ask". Well, at the time I was playing a japanese garage sale" Gibson 335" copy with a

warped neck and three strings on it, so I said Thanks, instead of "oh you shouldn't have, and took that guitar with me

every day to music class (eleventh grade composition) where I cut a deal with my teacher that, if I would transpose

one of my creations into sheet music by the time finals rolled around ( I hated math, and music to me was about sound

and emotion) he would allow me to continue to sit on the lunch area benches outside the classroom," across from the

girls gym", and work on my music, instead of sitting in the classroom learning how to transpose my ideas into symbols

on a page. That would come back to bite me later.

Fast forward to 1992... I moved from So. Cal. to the Napa Valley where I began playing my music at different

venues, such as Downtown Joe's, in Napa, and the Sweetwater Saloon, in Mill Valley. Recording at Laughing Tiger studios

in San Rafael, with the help of such talented musicians as, Austin DeLone, keys, (Elvis Costello), Jimmy Sage, drums,

(Lee Rocker), Rob Fordyce, bass, (Tom Finch band, The Ring ), Jef Madnick,Guitar, (Napa City Nights) and, Ari Rios

(Vocals, Percussion) Producer, engineer, Laughing Tiger Studios.

Finishing up the album, "Step Into The Moment"..... Check it out at My Space music Ralph Lichtenstein/Eddy Mac or sample it here on Sonicbids.

How many more breakups will it take before I find myself
walkin' hand in hand with the one I can turn to,
How many more wake-ups will it be before I find myself
standing here in front of you to tell you I love you

How many more breakups will it take before I find myself
walkin' hand in hand with the one I can turn to,
How many more wake-ups will it be before I find myself
standing here in front of you, I'll tell you I love you

You give me strength to stand up and fight another day
What I get from this love I get from no other place
You go inside me, you stir me up and calm me down
What I like most about you is that you speak to me
Without a sound

How many more breakups will it take before I find myself
walkin' hand in hand with the girl I can turn to,
How many more wake-ups will it be before I find myself
standing here in front of you, I'll tell you I love you

You give me strength to stand up and fight another day
What I get from this love I get from no other place
You go inside me, you stir me up just to calm me down
What I like most about you is that you speak to me
Without a sound

You give me strength to stand up and fight another day
What I get from this love I get from no other place
You go inside me, you stir me up just to calm me down
What I like most about you girl is you speak to me
without a sound.

sunday afternoon

Written By: Ralph Lichtenstein

Walk in the park,
watchin' the kids play
on a Sunday afternoon

Sittin' on a porch swing,
sippin' lemonade,
I touch your cheek,
here in the shade...yeah

Stroll on the beach,
watchin' the waves
crashing on the sand,
reach for your hand,
to lay you down,
and tell you just how much,
you mean to me

I want you to want me,
the way that I want you
I want you to hold me
the way that I hold ...you

Call my name
draw me near
whisper sweet things
in my ear
mist on the ground
evening rain
the scent of you drives me
insane...yeah

I want you to want me
the way that I want you
I want you to hold me
and feel the things that I do

When you get to where
you gotta bust outside
yourself
I'll come fly away
with you
we'll travel out cross
foreign lands
to a place
where we can grow
cause baby
your so beautiful

Wind in your hair
sun on your skin
lets us know
it's time to begin
to build a life together

I want you to want me
the way that I want you
I want you to hold me
and feel the things
feel the things
that I do...
about you now

And when you get to where
you gotta bust outside yourself
I'll come fly away
with you
we'll travel out
cross foreign lands
to a place
where we can grow
cause baby
your so beautiful...
your so beautiful...
your so beautiful...
to me...yeah Ralph Lichtenstein copyright 2007

Struck

Written By: Ralph Lichtenstein

Spend my days
mindin' my own business
tryin' to manage
this broken life
Saw you in a dream
I was sittin'
on my white horse
standing before me
was an angel from God

Stopped by to
pay my respects
to a fallen hero
swallowed hard before
I walked inside
there were rooms
full of people
empty words sadness
there on the dance floor
was an angel from God
oh my...my my

God send me an angel

I was struck by lightning
standin' next to you
your hurricane winds
they blew me away
one look in your eyes
and I'm lost in the moment
now I find myself
lovin you

God send me an angel

Found myself
there with an angel
burnin' up
the midnight sky
my heart belongs
to that angel
she brings crystal
to a world that lies
oh my...my God

I was struck by lightning
standin' next to you
your hurricane winds
they blew me away
one look in your eyes
and I'm lost in the moment
now I find myself
loving you

And what you bring to me
it's so right
so easy
I'm way up high
high above the clouds
I'm whats good for you
your whats good for me

And I was STRUCK!

I was struck by lightning
standin' next to you
your hurricane winds
blew me away
one look in your eyes
and I'm lost in the moment
now I find myself
loving you

REPEAT

God sent me the angel

Spend my days
minding my own business
tryin' to manage
this broken life
I saw you in a dream
I was sittin'
on my white horse
standing before me
was an angel from God

Get up get out of bed
shake the cobwebs from my head
grab my coffee put my game on
time to bust a move

I'm out the driveway up to the freeway cause I punch the clock at eight a.m. I put a smile on say good morning God I gotta bust a move

Make a trip out to PCH now oh my my such a different world blue skies and clear clear water now I'm on the move

I'm gonna' live my life
the way that I want to
it's good for my soul
gonna' take the time
to do the things that I want to
ain't gonna wait for no bell to toll
and every time I feel like
I can't go another mile
I'll just smile
put a smile on my face now

There ain't no secret society
there's only music
deep down inside of me
I've heard I'm my own worst enemy
from the symphony in my head yeah
sayin' take that shot
give it all I got
set my spirit free
and let nothin' stand
in the way of me

Gonna take some time for me
fast lane far behind me

Gonna live my life
the way that I want to
it's good for my soul
I'm gonna take the time
to do the things that I want to
ain't gonna wait
for no bell to toll

And every time I feel like I can't go another mile put a smile on my face get back in the race
upon my face
there's a great big smile
on my face
put a smile on my face now
oh put a smile
right back on my face now
gonna smile put a smile on my face now
oh yeah yeah yeah
I'm gonna smile
put a smile on my face now
ohhh yeah I'm gonna smile
oh put a smile on my face now
ohhhh gonna smile
I'll put a smile on my face now
hey hey hey

"Trace"

Written By: Ralph Lichtenstein

We've changed so much over the years
your point still isn't
all that clear
what were you trying
to say to me
what were you hoping
you could make me see

I wish that you could
see into me now
I know you think that
I've gone crazy
whatever happened
to your warm embrace
pleas don't leave here
without a trace

When it comes down
to you and me
there's just one thing
I want you to see
I spent my lifetime with you
and I want to be your lover babe
cause I'm gonna love you
till hell freezes over

When you gave to me
your loving hand
I was so happy
to be your loving man
now you say you want to leave here
don't leave here for another
cause girl I'm gonna love you
till hell freezes over

Whatever happened to the love we used to share
don't treat me like
a stranger now
as if you didn't care
I know we can make it
I'll be your friend your lover
cause I'm gonna love you
till hell freezes over

I wish that you would
come to your senses
maybe then
we could start mending fences
whatever happened
to your warm embrace
please don't leave here
without a trace

Just A Little While

Written By: Ralph Lichtenstein

----Every night I'm lying in bed
I wait for you to come home to me
Every morn' I raise up my head
to see if your lying next to me

doing some thinking about the two of us baby now

your so red hot makes me crazy

lite breezy easy to love
so why don't you stay for
just a little while

a little while
I've got to share

all I have to give with you
promises get broken dear
I'm still here with you

doing some thinking bout'
the two of us baby now

we've seen the hard times
makes us crazy
lite breezy easy to love

so why don't you stay for just a little while

why don't you stay
a little while right hear with me
why don't you stay a little while

doing some thinking bout'
the two of us baby now

we've seen hard times
makes us crazy

lite breezy easy to love

so why don't you stay for just a little while

why don't you stay
a little while right here with me

why don't you stay a little while

girl I give you all I got
give until I'm sore
all the love inside of me
I'll give you so much more

doing some thinking bout' the two of us baby now

we've seen hard times makes us crazy

lite breezy easy to love

so why don't you stay for

just a little while

why don't you stay a little while right here with me

why won't you stay a little while
